If you choose the right Niche, you’ll have multiple opportunities to promote similar products to people within those niches. Notice, I didn’t say the same, I said similar. Somebody interested in Making Money Online might well be interested in Weight loss or bodybuilding, because they’ll likely want to take pride in their appearance. It’s all about Status.
People are constantly seeking to improve their standing in society, if you can find similar products within a niche this will also increase your affiliate commissions. Somebody interested in Dating & relationships might also be interested in Making Money Online or ALSO fitness related products. Don’t just confine yourself to ONE-CORE product.
Solve People’s Problems
This one is simple and should be common sense… But it isn’t. Most affiliates just to try to get their links out any way they can. When you solve people’s problems FIRST, Sales come naturally afterwards. Show your prospects and customers you care about them. When you recommend a product, recommend a GOOD solution (not just the one that pays you the biggest commissions). Be honest in your reviews.
Your reputation is your biggest asset in affiliate marketing. If people don’t trust you, they sure as hell ain’t buyin’ from you! Another phrase I like is: “If people don’t trust you with their time, they won’t trust you with their wallet.” It’s really just common sense.
If your viewers trust you and the material you give them, then it will be easier for them to trust the products you’re selling or leading them into. When you do all that, trust grows. And so do your affiliate pay days! That one is short…but it’s a biggie!
The ‘Secret’ 80% Solution
A Strategic planning expert once told me, no matter how much planning you put into something your first attempt will only be about 80% as good as it can be. I’ve found this to be definitely true. The good news is that 80% good is better than 0% perfect. As well, 80% good is good enough for 80% of the people out there. Accept that your first attempt will only be 80% as good as you hope for.
That’s just how it is. Fail faster!
There will be challenges and things to resolve. The thing about these challenges is that they’ll give you the ammunition you need to make your next 80% attempt. That 80% is where the magic happens. It’s this 80% that’ll get you to 96%. What does the heck am I talking about and what does this actually look like?
Now what you do here is, get your general idea out in the open in front of you and then “fill in the blanks” with the best solution you can think of.
Tip: Deadlines work. Put they have to be deadlines that will push you, that’ll put a gun to your head and force you to choose your battles more wisely. The idea is to get that first 80% attempt done fast.
